Club's Mt Cotton Repeater upgrade

The club's VK4RAX Repeater has had a major upgrade. The new repeater is a Kenwood commercial repeater. The repeater was donated to the club by Andrew Chapman and installed by vk4lc Peter Kohlmayer. Work on the site was done by Peter vk4lc, John vk4jdf, Martin vk4jvc. There was around 3 hours work carried out installing antenna's, cables and installation of two racks Donated by Martin to carry the two repeaters vk4rax 2m and Peters vk4rpt 70cm digital repeater that is getting good use. There was also 2 hours work done by Peter installing and tuning the new repeater.

Southside Amateur Radio Society would like to thank all concerned for a job well done.
