About SARS
Located in Logan City 22km south of the Brisbane CBD, the Southside Amateur Radio Society Inc. was formed in 1993 by a handful of Amateurs who saw a need for a club that could cater for Amateurs in the local area.
Currently the Society enjoys a strong and growing membership, including Amateurs Short Wave Listeners and CBers.
Some Of Our Achievements.
* The Southside Amateur Radio Society provides transmitting facilities during Jamboree Of The Air (JOTA), an annual event that brings scouts together from all over the world.
